Ten Days to Get you Animated!
Anima, the Brussels International Animation Film Festival, is set to take place from 1st to 10th March.
Among other things at Flagey, the Festival will be hosting all its previews, with the international competition for feature films, the national and international competition for short films and graduation films, Futuranima Professional Days, free animation initiation workshops for the kids, a one-week course for teens, meetings with filmmakers, an exhibition, concerts, the Animated Night, and much more besides!
In short, ten days entirely devoted to animation with a total of 385 films screened, spread over more than 100 sessions!
During these 10 days of animated celebration, over 45,000 spectators will be passing through the corridors of Flagey as well as, and this is new for this year, at the Cinematek - for a tribute to Isao Takahata - the Galeries Cinema – for an exhibition on the work of Paul Bush – at the Palace - for some César-awarded features, as part of the Focus on France, and in different decentralization theatre in Wallonia (Ath, Mons, Charleroi, Namur, Liège and Nismes) and Flanders (Ghent, Antwerp, Leuven and Genk).
