FOCUS ON AUSTRIA
Austrian animated films are known for their tradition of experimentation, interdisciplinary approaches, and artistic perspectives. Their themes range from socially critical to poetically abstract, showcasing diverse techniques and often creating visual worlds that challenge narrative conventions. The first programme, Oldies, presents a selection of films spanning approximately 35 years, starting in the early 1990s, while Goodies features films produced over the past five years.
