ON FESTIVAL SCOPE
French-speaking Belgian animation in the spotlight on Festival Scope!
From 15 September to 15 October 2026, discover a free selection of French-speaking Belgian animated films on Festival Scope, as part of the Fêtes de septembre. For this new edition, Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI), Wallonie-Bruxelles Images and the Anima International Animation Film Festival have joined forces around a programme titled Wallonie-Bruxelles Animée.
It brings together creators whose work reaches far beyond our borders, gathered for a festival you can enjoy from anywhere in the world. The selection reveals the full range of animation from our region, from delicate short films to distinctive visual worlds and inventive techniques. It’s also a chance to discover rare works that you’ll rarely come across outside their usual usual festival and screening circuits.
The programme is available from 15 September to 15 October 2026 on Festival Scope. Access is free but tickets are limited, so book early. Viewing conditions may vary by region. Discover the Wallonie-Bruxelles Animée selection on Festival Scope
