Un survivant de l’Holocauste lit une lettre qu’il a écrite au cochon qui lui a sauvé la vie. Une jeune écolière entend son témoignage en classe et sombre dans un rêve bizarre où elle est confrontée à des questions d’identité, de traumatisme collectif et aux extrêmes de la nature humaine.
