Akutsu is a former yakuza sentenced to life in prison. Recalling his past life, he confides in a flower, the only presence in his cell. He goes back to the summer of 1986, when he lived with Nana and her son Kensuke in a small flat. A film that addresses with great delicacy the issues of love, chosen fatherhood and a man’s choices for his family.
