Tout tourne autour de la saucisse. Sur le thème de la consommation de viande et du sort réservé aux animaux, cette fable, à la manière du conte de Grimm, renverse les rôles de l’homme et de l’animal. L’agneau est le Petit Chaperon rouge, le grand-père est un mouton. Le grand méchant loup, un boucher. Le chasseur est un chien fou de saucisses.
