Jérémy Clapin started out as a graphic designer and illustrator before falling into film directing. He has since made many short films awarded all around the world (Skhizein, Palmipedarium…). His first feature film, I Lost my Body, won the Grand Prix de la Semaine de la critique in Cannes in 2019 and the César for best animated film in 2020.


Dorien Schetz is a line producer and studio production manager for the Belgian studio Beast Animation, where she has worked on many films such as Ce Magnifique Gâteau! or A Town Called Panic.


Pascal Vermeersch has worked on several international films (Funan, Josep, Where is Anne Frank). He has also been teaching animation at KASK in Ghent since 2006.

Bastien Dubois is a French filmmaker, whose first independent film Madagascar, carnet de voyage was nominated for the Oscar for best animated short film in 2011. His latest short, Souvenir souvenir, is currently in the running for the César for best animated short film.


Uli Wegenast is artistic director of the Stuttgart Animated Film Festival. He is also an honorary professor at the University of Babelsberg Konrad Wolf and has given more than 200 lectures and workshops on animation around the world, including Harvard University.


Léoluna Robert-Tourneur is a young Belgian filmmaker, whose short film Hold Me Tight won the Jean-Luc Xiberras award for a first short film at the Annecy Festival.

Lia Bertels is a young Belgian filmmaker and screenwriter, whose shorts Nuit chérie and On n'est pas près d'être des super héros have represented the colours of Belgium in many international festivals since 2018. She worked with jazz singer Cécile McLorin Salvant to make a feature film inspired by her last show Ogresse.


An De Winter works for FONK vzw, the organizing association of the DOCVILLE and Kortfilmfestival Leuven festivals. Since 2013, she has also been the general coordinator of Dalton Distribution, a Belgian distributor of short films and documentaries.


Thibaut Quirynen is the general coordinator of the CinéCité cooperative, where he is also part of the programme planning team. He has been looking after KINOGRAPH, the first ephemeral cinema in Brussels since 2019.

Kitty Crowther is the author and illustrator of several books for children (Petites histoires de nuit, La Cavale) that have won many international awards both for the graphics and their stories with strong and sensitive subjects.


Claire Paoletti is a screenwriter and producer at Picolo Pictures, whose work includes the winner of the Annecy 2020 Cristal for a TV production, Shoom’s Odyssey, which she produced and co-wrote.


Nadège Herrygers is a filmmaker and animator at the Cinema Department of Hainaut Province. She has been leading short film making workshops for various audiences, and young people in particular for over 20 years.
