Our call for entries for Anima 2024 is now closed!

We received more than 1600 films, all types considered.

Thank you all for your films! The Anima team is very much looking forward to discovering them and is happy to see that the sector is more active and flourishing than ever!
Now it's time for us to watch them all. See you on December 1st for the announcement of our official short film selection!

Anima considers all films completed after June 2022 and belonging to the following categories as eligible for competition:

• Feature Films
• Feature Films for a Young Audience
• International Professional Short Films
• International Student Films
• International Short Films for a Young Audience
• National Short Films

Anima is a qualifying festival for the ACADEMY AWARD® for Best Animated Short Film and awards a wide range of international animated films. Find here the price list from 30 January 2024.

The directors/producers of the selected films will be notified by email personally. After selection, please send all additional documents (dialogues/subtitles/press kit/biography/director's filmography) by email to selection@folioscope.be.

For the third year in a row, the winners in the main competition categories will receive, in addition to the cash prizes, an Anima trophy: a Uō, a unique piece designed by the artist Peggy Boursin.
