On a street corner, an old mattress begins to moan: ‘They say I’m dirty …’ Other pieces of garbage share their sad tales. Then a newspaper, picked up by the wind and twirling under a street light, inspires them. Together, they turn their misery into a joyful spectacle of song and dance.
