Ahlam is 14 jaar en al moeder. In een overvolle vlieghaven vlucht ze uit Bagdad, haar enige referentiepunt. Terwijl ze de confrontatie aangaat met de schaduwen van haar verleden, denkt ze na over haar reis en haar zoektocht om de controle over haar leven terug te krijgen.
