EXHIBITION BATTERIES INCLUDED
This exhibition presents some of the robots that Jan De Coster has built over the past decade. They have already travelled to museums and festivals from Peru to Beijing by way of Moscow. This is the first time they are being shown in the same room. They look forward to meeting you and charming you with their pretty little faces!

DIGITAL PLAYGROUND
After the film, discover our new interactive space where you can have fun playing games together that combine the latest technologies and animated films! Surf through cyberspace on a skateboard, play ball with a toaster, bring your drawings to life and make music by coding.

The Digital Playground includes
ToasterBall (collectif Les Crafteurs) : One ball, two goals and … two toasters. Jump and control a toaster. Will you manage to put the ball in the opponent’s goal?
Crashboard (Léon Denise and Émilie Breslavetz) : Surf through cyberspace on a skateboard.
Mixed Reality (J.E.F.) : Discover mixed-reality games on a tablet. Bring your drawings to life, make music with coding blocks and create magical figures in space.
EXHIBITION BEAUTIFUL MEN
Want to get to know Steven, Koen, Bart and the other characters in the animated short Beautiful Men by Nicolas Keppens? In this exhibition you can discover the handmade stop-motion characters in their settings, designed and created by Nicolas and the Pedri Animation team.

AUVIO Kids
In the area reserved for AUVIO Kids, children can have their photo taken with their favourite hero and leave with a little souvenir. AUVIO Kids is a free, family-friendly and ad-free streaming platform for children. During the Festival, AUVIO Kids will present a fun programme featuring our friends Ernest and Célestine, the Marsupilami, Non-Non, the Smurfs and Mush-Mush!

GUIDED BIKE TOUR WITH ROCIO ALVAREZ
Saddle up! The Anima festival will be the meeting point for Pro Velo’s first guided tour of the season. Grab your bike and pedal alongside the talented Rocío Alvarez! Immerse yourself in her world as you follow a route lined with frescoes painted by the artist.

DRINK & DRAW: CREATE YOUR OWN ANIMATED GIF!
The concept is simple: drawing together over a drink. For amateurs, enthusiasts or novices eager to discover new things, Drink & Draw celebrates artistic diversity in an informal setting. For this special edition, Grafik will guide you through the process of creating short analogue animations which are transformed into GIFs for you to share with family and friends.
During Anima, Grafik will also be publishing illustrations by animation professionals and film-makers taking part in this edition, available in the festival shop!

THE BROKEN SLIDE
First, there’s a slide. Broken. Blocked. Prohibited. Then, an encounter between a child and a musician. As the child cries about his broken slide, the musician takes him on a journey and the exploration begins! A show for the whole family, told in song with a giant pop-up book.

SPIROU POP-UP SHOW!
Anima and the Spirou comics are a match made in heaven! Join us for informal live shows with the comic’s artists who, through graphic tutorials and playful challenges, will reveal their secrets and whip out their pencils to illustrate topics chosen by the audience.

TROMBIDOU ARTIST
Sylvie Delplanque is an all-round artist, musician, make-up artist, animator and illustrator. She will be at the festival on weekends to put make-up on the faces (or arms) of both young and old, according to your whim and her inspiration!
