This exhibition presents some of the robots that Jan De Coster has built over the past decade. They have already travelled to museums and festivals from Peru to Beijing by way of Moscow. This is the first time they are being shown in the same room. They look forward to meeting you and charming you with their pretty little faces!

Inés, a Spanish artist living in India, stumbles across Sultana’s Dream, a sci-fi short story written in 1905 by Rokeya Hossain. It describes Ladyland, a utopian land ruled by women. Fascinated by this story, Inés embarks on a journey across India in search of the only place where women can live in peace.
